Nothing to find up front. Your subscription covers the build, the hosting and the ongoing care, so the money leaves your account the same way your phone bill does.

New opening hours, a price change, swapping a photo. Send it over and it gets done. You will not get an invoice for twenty minutes of work.

You are online in a fortnight

Once your content is with us and the subscription has started, a standard site takes one to two weeks. Bookings or a shop can add a week on top.

There is no ticket queue and no account manager in the middle. You email the two people who built your site, and you hear back the same day or the next.

We will not sell you more than you need

If a five page site does the job, we will tell you that and take the £49 rather than talk you into the £199. A shop, a booking system or a monthly SEO plan only gets suggested when there is a clear reason for it. We would rather keep you for five years than overcharge you for one.

How a build actually runs

Everything happens over email, so you have a written record of the whole thing and you can deal with it whenever suits you.

  1. You get in touch

    Fill in the form with a rough idea of what you need. If you have not picked a plan, we will suggest the one that fits and say plainly whether we can do what you are asking.

  2. We send you a brief form

    Your details, what the site needs to do, any sites you like the look of, and all the words and photos you want on it. Take as long as you need over this part.

  3. We confirm the price

    We read it all, check nothing needs a specialist system we have not accounted for, then confirm the final monthly figure. No surprises after this point.

  4. You start the subscription

    Work begins the day your first payment lands. This is what lets us skip the deposit that other agencies ask for.

  5. You review the site

    We send you a link to the finished build. Tell us what needs changing and we revise it. Nothing goes public until you are happy with it.

  6. It goes live

    We put it online, point your domain at it and check everything works on a phone. Then we look after it for as long as you stay with us.

Plans

All plans run for a minimum of twelve months, then continue monthly and you can stop whenever you like. Domain registration is billed separately and at cost.

Questions people ask before signing up

Do I own the website?

No, and we would rather be straightforward about that than bury it. The website itself is rented as part of your subscription, which is what allows there to be no upfront cost. If you leave, the site comes down.

Your domain name is a different matter. That is yours, and you can take it with you.

Why is there a twelve month minimum?

Because the build happens at the start and the payments arrive over time. A site that takes a fortnight to make is not covered by one or two months of subscription, and the twelve months is what makes it possible to have no deposit at all.

After the first twelve months it carries on month to month and you can stop whenever you want.

Can I phone you?

We work by email and WhatsApp rather than by phone, and that is deliberate. It means requests get written down, nothing gets lost, and we spend our time building rather than sitting on calls. It also means you get a proper, considered answer rather than whatever comes to mind first.
